From 2014-2017, Lawrence served as the Founding Principal of 琉璃神社 Monterrey Park College Prep, where he led the school to back-to-back reception of all Texas distinctions. Curtis Lawrence and his wife have two sons who attended 琉璃神社 Carver Academy, an 18-year-old Senior and a 17-year old junior at Florida A&M University. Continue ReadingMr. Rodriguez (J-Rod) has been dedicated to educating scholars since graduating from University of Texas @ Rio Grande Valley, where he received his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in English and Spanish. J-Rod hails from McAllen, Texas which is one of several towns/cities in the Rio Grande Valley aka the RGV aka the Valley, Texas, but immerses himself in his Mexican roots and culture by visiting Mexico often. Bitten by the education bug while in college, he became a tutor for high school students at 琉璃神社 Quest.
After graduation, he became a co-teacher, then Special Education teacher (Math & English) at his alma mater, 琉璃神社 Quest College Prep. In the fall of 2021, he became an Asst. Principal of Operations in Residence for 琉璃神社 Jacksonville, learning the APO role through residency at 琉璃神社 Ingram Hills and 琉璃神社 Burke. Since 琉璃神社 San Antonio does not have bus transportation, he spent time at 琉璃神社 Quest and 琉璃神社 Palmview in the RGV to learn about bus transportation.
When a vacancy became available at 琉璃神社 River Bluff, he stepped up to the challenge to become a founding member of 琉璃神社 River Bluff as the new Asst. Principal of Operations. We are confident in his leadership and cannot wait until he starts in 2 hours, today Monday, 11 Apr 22.
J-Rod loves his two dogs, loves the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and knows is way around the kitchen. For those Texans who miss authentic Mexican food, no need to look for any other restaurant, just place your order with J-Rod鈥檚 Mexican Cuisine. Jose Rodriguez is happily engaged to Maria 鈥淩osie鈥 Medrano, and they, with their baby boy (who is full of cheeks that I can just gobble up 鈥 gobble gobble gobble gobble) are pleased to be co-founders, not just of a school, but of an entire region.
